New Client Portal – Launching Jan 2012

We have been very busy working on some behind the scenes improvements on our client portal and website. We are happy to announce that we are in the final stages of testing and we should be ready to launch both towards the end of January 2012.

New & Improved Client Portal

Over the last 6 months we have been developing and testing our new Client Portal, we have listened to our clients and worked as many feature requests in as we could.

General Changes

  • New client area design
    We have introduced a fresh new client area design which will match our new website and increase usability for our clients. This also features a new navigation system with drop down menus and improved check out scripts using the latest AJAX technology.
  • Account Credits
    We are introducing a new way to add funds into your account. From this release onwards clients can deposit money into your account to put against any future invoices that may arise. This is useful for customers wanting to Auto-Renew domains and services without a Credit or Debit card.
  • Default Billing Method
    Clients will soon be able to change the default payment method on products and services without contacting support.
  • List sorting & Product Groups
    As part of the improved client area design, products and services will now be listed in sortable groups, e.g. Shared Hosting & Dedicated Servers will appear in separate sections making management easier.

.xxx General Availability Launches December 6

Any adult webmasters and intellectual property holders in both the Adult and non-Adult space will be allowed register their .XXX domains.

Our acquisition engine will queue up all orders in a first come, first served order and go after your domain names the moment the .XXX doors open. This gives you the very best chance to get your domain names during the General Availability period.
As soon as the doors open for General Availability, we’ll submit all of your domain name applications. Within 24 hours we’ll update your account with the domain names successfully acquired. If we are not able to get your domain, you’ll be refunded for the registration fee. There is NO application fee for General Availability.

How much does it cost?
.xxx registration costs £70.00 (+ VAT) per domain, per year. If you are registering more than 10 domains please contact sales for a limited time discounted rate.

How I do register?
Just like any other domain, the .xxx TLD can be registered through our client portal. On Tuesday December 6 16:00 GMT the TLD will be become available on all order forms:

More People, More Room

With the success of any business comes the a bigger workload and a bigger need for space. EX Networks has therefore had to move into our new shiny office in Central London.

With our main datacentre just around the corner and so many business links based in our around London it felt the perfect time to move to our new central London office. The office is located minutes away from King Cross St Pancreas, Not only an important UK but European hub too.

The need for the office was vital to improving and maintaining current service level. Our recent increase in clients has led to our staff having far too much to many tasks so we had to take on extra staff to ensure our high calibre service was maintained.

At the height of the recession it is great to be increasing our employment and showing high levels of growth at the same time.
